The Gold Standard

The Black Belts are the only individuals to be "Full HaganaH Instructors", and they have successfully completed all the required Certifications and Training Modules to be able to test for their Black belts. A HaganaH Black belt has a deep understanding of our system and has gone through intensive training and education within our system. In addition to all the training and education, has proven himself or herself worthy of being called a Mike Lee Kanarek, HaganaH Black Belt by going through our rigorous Black Belt Test held every year at our prestigious Annual HaganaH Training Conference. I call this process "When Iron Becomes Steel"! Personally I consider my Black Belts Lions made of steel: True Machines!!!

The Reds

To Israelis the color Red represents being "Operative", ready for war. The Reds are my Elite F.I.G.H.T. Instructors that are on deck to test for their Black Belts at the upcoming Annual HaganaH Training Conference. They already bled many times in training and are about to pass through the fire to become official Mike Lee Kanarek, HaganaH Black Belts. These individuals have gone through all the required Certifications and Training Modules successfully, and are 4 months into their training camps for their upcoming Black Belt test. This is a very special time for the Elite F.I.G.H.T. Instructor. He or she knows they have my blessing to test and it is considered a right of passage period. These Lions are about to bleed one more time before they become Lions of steel!

The Blues

The Israeli Flag features two colors, Blue and White. It is a color all Israelis hold close to their heart and to Israelis the color Blue also represents a "Graduate": the school owners. Not all school owners are HaganaH Black belts. Ultimately, all school owners will become Black Belts, but there are indeed some schools that are being operated by F.I.G.H.T. Instructors only. This is why we have adopted the famous saying of "Iron Sharpens Iron" in our system. Our Annual HaganaH Training Conference was designed with that purpose in mind. It is for all F.I.G.H.T. Instructors, the Black Belts, the school owners that are not Black Belts yet and the Associate Instructors to interact, train and grow together sharpening each other toward the ultimate goal of testing for their Black Belts in HaganaH. I consider my school owners Lions, but not of steel yet. Thus, the color Blue, which signifies their inspiration on their quest to become a Black Belt.

Associate Instructors

Are considered the next generation in our organization. They have not yet proven anything, other than attending the F.I.G.H.T. Instructor Certification, and in some cases additional Certifications or Training Modules. These individuals will have to fight their way up our food chain of leadership, for the upper leadership in our system to consider them Lions of any kind.
